My Wave
My Wave is a personal infinite stream of tracks generated by the Yandex Music recommendation engine (Rotor). The stream updates in real time based on your listening history and likes.
Access
Section titled “Access”- Browse: open Browse → Yandex Music → My Wave to view the playlist.
- Recommendations (Discover): My Wave also appears on the MA home screen and updates every 10 minutes.
How It Works
Section titled “How It Works”The provider uses the Yandex Music Rotor API — the same engine behind My Wave in the official app:
- Tracks are loaded in batches (a few tracks per request).
- Already-played tracks are filtered out — no duplicates appear.
- With each track play, the provider sends feedback to Rotor (start / end / skip) — this improves personalization.
- The playlist supports pagination: more tracks can be loaded in Browse.
Configuring the Limit
Section titled “Configuring the Limit”By default, up to 150 tracks are loaded. This can be changed in the provider settings:
Settings → Yandex Music → My Wave — max tracks (advanced settings, range 10–1000).
A lower value means faster loading. A higher value means a longer uninterrupted stream without repeats.
Feedback and Personalization
Section titled “Feedback and Personalization”The provider automatically sends the following to Rotor:
- start — a track began playing.
- end — a track was played to the end.
- skip — a track was skipped.
This feedback affects future recommendations exactly as it does in the official app.
